Welcome to Woven Light Reiki. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website, your inquiries, and any services offered through this site, including in-person Reiki sessions, distance Reiki sessions, and related communications.

Nature of Services

Woven Light Reiki offers complementary wellness services intended to support relaxation, reflection, and personal well-being.

Reiki is not a substitute for medical care, mental health care, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. No statement on this website or during any service should be interpreted as medical advice, psychological advice, or a guarantee of outcome.

Clients are responsible for seeking appropriate licensed medical, psychological, legal, or financial support where needed.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book services unless written consent is provided by a parent or legal guardian and the service is expressly accepted by Woven Light Reiki.

By booking, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

Booking and Payment

Bookings may be accepted through direct contact, an online booking system, intake form, email, or another approved booking method listed on this website.

Payment terms, session rates, deposits, and available session formats will be listed on the website or communicated before the booking is confirmed.

A booking is not considered confirmed until you receive confirmation from Woven Light Reiki.

Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Late Arrivals

Clients are expected to provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling unless otherwise stated in writing.

A deposit may be non-refundable when cancellation occurs inside the stated notice window.

Late arrival may shorten the session length in order to respect scheduling boundaries. Repeated no-shows, late cancellations, or boundary violations may result in refusal of future bookings.

These Terms are intended to work alongside any consumer rights that may apply under mandatory law. Alberta consumer law protects consumers from unfair business practices, and some Alberta contracts may also carry specific cancellation rights depending on the contract type.

Online and Distance Sessions

For online or distance sessions:

the client is responsible for providing accurate contact details
the client is responsible for ensuring they have a private, safe, and reasonably stable environment for the session
the client understands that internet, device, platform, or connectivity issues may affect delivery
Woven Light Reiki is not responsible for third-party platform outages or client-side technical issues

If an online session cannot proceed due to technical problems, the session may be rescheduled at reasonable discretion.

Client Responsibility

By booking a service, you agree that you are voluntarily participating and are responsible for your own decisions, interpretations, and aftercare.

You agree to communicate respectfully and honestly, including any relevant accessibility needs, sensitivities, timing concerns, or boundaries that may affect the session.

Woven Light Reiki reserves the right to pause, decline, reschedule, or end a session where safety, scope, conduct, regulation, or professional boundaries require it. If a session is ended by Woven Light Reiki for practitioner reasons, a full or partial refund may be issued at the practitioner’s discretion or as otherwise stated in policy.

Each client experience is individual. Woven Light Reiki makes no guarantee regarding specific emotional, spiritual, energetic, financial, relational, or health outcomes.
